Description Our client, a manufacturer of custom, made-to-order metal fabricated products, is looking to add the talents of an HR Generalist to its Human Resources department. In this "job shop" environment, you will be responsible for the day-to-day recruitment and training efforts, as well as the administration of the employee handbook for internal job moves within the 2 shift operation and 400+ employees, spread across various departments and processes. A key element of this position is the labor relations expertise needed to navigate through any difficulties and rewards of dealing with tenured employees. Our ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of HR experience from a manufacturing environment with a strong sense of "job ownership". With this highly skilled and experienced workforce, we are looking for a Generalist that brings professional communication skills to the table, allowing you to empower and facilitate the proper processes.
