Description This successful multi-plant automotive part manufacturer, known for their technical expertise in metal forming and assembly processes, is seeking an experienced Tooling Designer to join their Engineering team. Featuring a variety of Stamping, Welding, and Assembly technologies, this is an opportunity for a proven designer and detailer of fixtures, tooling, and related components to support in-house and external builds for a busy and growing operation. Our ideal candidate is a Technologist or degreed Engineer with 5-10 years of related industry knowledge; welding fixture experience will be highly valued within this group. In addition to designing in Solidworks, the Tooling Designer will be a trusted contributor in: reviewing and analyzing data, participating in material selection, estimating & quoting processes, coordinating builds, and assisting in trials.
