Description This established automotive manufacturer supports customers through multiple production facilities. Reporting to the President and working closely with the senior leadership team – VP's of Engineering, Finance, and Sales – the Vice President of Operations will lead key groups including Quality, Materials, and Plant Management. The ideal candidate will have experience driving ‘big picture’ strategic vision, while ensuring plans and timelines are followed. Prior successes in the following areas will highlight candidacy: building new facilities, launching new programs, supporting new customers, managing plant turnarounds, and improving overall efficiencies. This is a promising opportunity for a capable communicator to inherit a proven mid-management team, where the ability to drive strategy as a senior executive will be just as valued as the capacity to be hands-on and shop-floor focused when required. This person will be empowered and expected to provide direction and consistency for day-to-day activities, while moving the business forward through the effective management of people and resources. A minimum of ten years at a senior level within automotive Tier-1 or Tier-2 supplier environment is preferred; previous multi-plant and/or multi-process responsibilities will be highly regarded.
