Description
Our client is an industry-leading Consulting Firm with multiple locations across Southern Ontario specializing in the full range of Land Development Engineering in support of infrastructure projects including planning, design, and implementation. With dramatic growth and scores of projects to fulfill, it has partnered with KEC to add the talents of an experienced Land Development Project Engineer to its team. While a strong preference will be for the Engineer to work out of the Kitchener or Guelph offices, accommodation for the ideal candidate can be made in any of the other five offices.
The Project Engineer - Land Development will assume the responsibility for managing the design, modeling, reporting, tenders, and proposals for Land Development Projects. Scope will incorporate stormwater, sanitary sewer, site grading, drainage, and services for Residential Subdivisions, Mid-Rise, Low-Rise, High-Rise and ICI Projects.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Canadian experience leading Land Development projects from preliminary design stages through the development process to delivery, acting as a liaison between client, contractors, and approving authorities. The candidate brings a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and, preferably, is a licensed P.Eng. with experience managing the preparation of proposals, other business development activities, and financial management of projects. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively convey proposed work efforts and project results in technical documents and reports, interviews, and oral presentations.
