Description For more than 50 years, this Canadian designer/manufacturer of sophisticated technologies has built an award-winning reputation with its international customer base. To support rapid growth, it is expanding its production facility in Eastern Ontario and will add the talents of an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to its team.

The Manufacturing Engineering Specialist will support ongoing change management and new process commissioning in mechanical & electro-mechanical sub-assembly and final assembly production. This role will require frequent collaboration with R&D and Product Engineering teams in multiple locations and NPI and SMT leadership onsite to ensure current and future DFM effectiveness. The role will develop and manage CapEx projects resulting from Kaizens and CI initiatives and investigation of new CNC Machining, Sheet Metal Fabrication, & Assembly technologies.

Our ideal candidate brings Manufacturing Engineering experiences and knowledge developed and honed in the production of sophisticated electronics equipment. Specifically, we're search for candidates with expertise in enclosure manufacturing and device final assembly processes. Candidates should be champions of Continuous Improvement initiatives willing to offer recommendations that can improve traditional production methods to support increasing demands on capability and capacity. Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering credentials and outstanding communications and project management talents round out our selection criteria. Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is a hiring requirement.
