Its 50+ year history is a track record of success and profits that have been rewarded by relative independence from HQ. From its Canadian Distribution Center in south Mississauga, it sells its wide range of electrical hardware products directly to OEMs, to Electrical Wholesale Distributors, and to Hardware Retailers.

To support this independent Canadian Division, it will hire a Human Resources Generalist to join the management team reporting to the General Manager. The role will inherit broad responsibilities from development and application of HR policies & strategies to Payroll (ADP) to Health & Safety to Recruitment & Retention, and to compliance with Canadian legislations. Beyond the tactical responsibilities, the General Manager will depend on the HR Generalist to solidify, and even improve, the workplace culture which is already highlighted by a great sense of teamwork, open communications, and comradery.

Our ideal candidate brings us broad and deep HR experiences, ideally in a Generalist versus Specialist capacity, and an understanding that being all things to a small group of employees can be taxing some days, but is mostly rewarding.
