Description First established early in the 20th century, this Black Box designer / manufacturer of complex, safety-critical, automotive systems has perfected its Metallurgical and Mechanical Engineering competencies. In the past decade, it has very specifically invested in aluminum processing technologies to aid its customers in reducing vehicle weight while still gaining the strength of steel.

It will add a Manufacturing Process Engineer to its team to strengthen Program Launch & Production support. Working closely with the Product Development Team, the Process Engineer will develop controllable processes that ensure capacity & capability to meet customer needs, identify capital requirements and source machinery when necessary, fully support Program Managers with PPAP and FMEA analysis, and participate in design review processes.

Our ideal candidate brings us FORGING, DIE CASTING or FOUNDRY experiences, ideally with aluminum alloys for automotive applications. An Engineering Degree in Metallurgical, Materials, or Mechanical disciplines and 3-5 years of related experiences will provide base level knowledge to be considered for hire. Excellent communications skills coupled with a self-motivated, analytical, inquisitive attitude round out the selection criteria.
