Description Few companies can trace their roots back more than a century like this one can! Now an important division of a Canadian food processing and packaging corporation, this small operation requires the talents of an experienced Plant Manager to lead it to sustained success. Relying on the strategic Finance, Human Resources, Project Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Sales & Marketing assets of Head Office, the Plant Manager will lead Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control teams ensuring full on-time delivery to customers. The production model is high mix, low volume requiring lots of changeovers, CIP, and sanitization.

We're searching for a hands-on Plant Manager who brings solid experiences attaining Operational successes in the food processing and packaging industry. Since the operation is in a small rural town in SW Ontario, most of the 60-odd union-free employees are highly tenured neighbours, relatives, and friends displaying superb technical & tribal knowledge. Our ideal candidate has developed the leadership & communications skills requisite with harnessing the talents & knowledge of this workforce to improve throughput and absorb increased business generated by the corporation. In return the corporation can offer long term employment stability and security at this site or others in Ontario as reward for accomplishment.
