Description This major Canadian food products processor has made a significant investment in one of its plants in South Bruce to solidify the plant's importance. The expansion has dramatically increased production volumes utilizing state of the art equipment and technologies.

To support its 24 x 7 production requirements, it will hire a Control Systems Technologist to program PLC and HMI applications, troubleshoot automated process equipment & software, and offer advice to improve systems and reporting. This role carries broad responsibilities and direct exposure to the Plant Manager, Maintenance and Corporate Project Engineering teams, and offers career advancement opportunity.

Our ideal candidate brings a Controls or Automation Engineering Technology Diploma and 2 years of hands-on programming and troubleshooting experiences with Allen Bradley products, process control systems, HMI programming, and Preventative Maintenance planning. Additional experiences with variable frequency drives, pneumatic controls, servo drives and/or stepper systems will enhance candidacy.
