Description Proudly Canadian, this multi-plant food products producer has a need for a Plant Accountant / Controller at it's most northern division. In support of growth plans, it will more fully integrate the division with the more formal corporate financial reporting models.

Reporting to the Director of Finance at Headquarters in Mississauga, this role will provide financial leadership to the local team and be responsible for all Accounting functions associated with preparing plant financial statements and budgets. This will be a hands-on leadership role requiring the Plant Accountant / Controller to perform many clerical functions her/himself.

Our ideal candidate brings experiences in industrial, manufacturing Accounting where operational budgets, costing and variance analysis is routine. Any post secondary credentials will highlight candidacy. Beyond skill and knowledge, our ideal candidate is personable, unpretentious, cooperative and committed to meeting deadlines.
