Description As a producer of brand name consumer goods, our client has built a reputation as an employee-friendly corporation with a culture defined by engagement and collaboration. One of its smaller plants requires the talents of a broadly skilled Human Resources Generalist to assume the Human Resources Business Partner role. This role is defined as a single contributor, supporting the Plant Manager by applying corporate polices to suit plant needs and by administering the Collective Agreement. Our ideal candidate brings solid experiences handling the full gamut of Recruiting, Performance Management, Attendance, Health & Safety, Benefit Administration, Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution, and Labour Relations. More importantly, our ideal candidate brings a maturity, a servant leader attitude that is effective resolving interpersonal issues, supporting employees personal & career development, and maintaining the employee-sensitive culture. There will be the need for occasional travel to head office in Mississauga and/or to other Ontario plants to support other HR Business Partners and Plant Managers.
