Description Proudly Canadian, this food products producer operates in multiple factories, providing branded and private label products that consumers recognize at their local grocery store. Growing by acquisition, this corporation has very deliberately maintained an unpretentious workplace culture focused more on engagement & collaboration and less on bureaucracy. At its headquarters in Mississauga, it will add the talents of an accomplished Total Rewards Manager to lead a small team covering the complete scope of Corporate HRIS/HCM, Payroll, Compensation, and Benefits.

This is a leadership role reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources requiring strong analytical and administrative management skills and solid Total Rewards experiences developed and honed in a mid-sized Corporation. Recent Compensation and Benefits upgrading projects are completed leaving a major project to lead the implementation of HCM software. On any given day, decisions will be required to onboard new recruits, solve group benefits eligibility, prepare the annual merit & bonus programmes, audit retirees' benefit administration, administrate Disability and Return to Work programs, and administer the Pay & Employment Equity programs. From a broader perspective, this role is responsible for developing overall Compensation strategies including market surveys, updating & developing job evaluation & wage/salary bands, recommending & leading systems upgrades, and developing & honing overall Group Benefits and Pension strategies. Internally, this role will liaise closely with Corporate and Plant HR Management and all Corporate & Operational department leaders. Externally, this role is responsible for all vendor/broker/consultant relationships for maintaining relevance of Payroll, Benefits, Pensions and Disability programmes reflecting the Corporations Employee-friendly culture.

Our ideal candidate has built a solid career base covering the spectrum of HRIS/HCM, Compensation, Benefits and Payroll administration in mid-sized corporate structures. With the HCM project still ahead, we are searching for a Total Rewards Generalist who can offer sound business advice and guidance on the full scope of the role and has focused expertise in leading HCM process implementation.
