Description This busy automotive Tier 1 parts manufacturer is seeking a Junior Buyer to join their Materials team. Working closely with Suppliers, Engineering, and Quality, this role will help determine material requirements from plans and part drawings, set order quantities, and ensure on-time sourcing of all purchased components, raw materials, and tooling. This person will ensure production stock levels are maintained, tracking deliveries or delays. This is a good opportunity for a developing Purchaser to expand their skillset as part of an established team in a growing organization. Relevant post-secondary education is required; a minimum of 1-3 years of Purchasing experience in a manufacturing plant would be preferred.
