Description Kitchener Executive has partnered with this Tier II Automotive parts supplier in their efforts to add the talents of a Supplier Quality Engineer to the organization. Known as a technical leader within the industry, this organization is looking for a Quality Engineer to continually vet and support the series of raw material suppliers while working closely with the more critical component suppliers that they integrate with their parts and systems. As an established Supplier Quality Engineer, you’ll provide strong experiences supporting suppliers efforts in establishing robust and lean processes, ensuring the utmost quality of components and products. You’ll have experience applying supplier score cards and all other requirements into the IATF 16949 standards, but most importantly, you believe in a hands-on approach to monitoring and supporting your supplier base. You’ll have logged a vast number of hours inside your suppliers' facilities and working with their Production staff to drive root cause and refine processes.

Our ideal candidate has developed their Automotive Quality career within Tier I & II metal processing suppliers where components are being supplied to more complex and assembled systems. You'll be steeped in the hands on support of supplier development and process improvements, all while drawing your companies "line in the sand" regarding non-conformances. The ability and willingness to travel within Ontario is required for the position.
