Description Well-established in its SW Ontario town, this auto parts designer / manufacturer requires the talents of a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to support the needs of some 200 employees. This is a very active role, interfacing and influencing all levels of the org. chart, Co-Chairing the JHSC, updating & developing policies & procedures, developing & deploying training modules, providing H&S input to Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives, and maintaining relationships with government bodies. Our ideal candidate brings a passion for maintaining a safe workplace for employees, excellent communication skills, and shop floor empathy that earns credibility with Production Associates. Previous experiences serving on a JHSC, preparing for and supporting audits, and any experiences with Behavioural Based Safety will highlight candidacy.
