Description We're searching for an Manufacturing Engineering Manager who has developed credentials and knowledge in Policy & Procedure driven industries such as Aerospace, Defense or Medical. Our client's business is a combination of proprietary technologies and build to print where measurement of parts at every stage in Manufacturing & Assembly and 100% Testing of finished assemblies is critical. This leader in the design and manufacturing of integrated mechanical and electronic technologies for global markets is proud of its 50-year history and loyalty of its long-term employees. Yet, it recognizes that its traditional production methodologies & tribal knowledge can become even more effective by blending in external expertise. We'll want the Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the application of objective Lean Manufacturing, VSM and professional Problem Solving techniques. The Manager will lead a mid-sized team of highly technical Mechanical Process and Software Controls Engineers developing Assembly and Test procedures & equipment for High Mix / Low Volume customized manufacturing.
