Description Kitchener Executive Consultants has partnered with a Global Designer and Manufacturer of Automotive and Industrial products in their search to add the talents of seasoned and accomplished Sr. Buyer to the organization. As a senior member of the Procurement Group, you'll be responsible for leading the Global sourcing of critical commodity raw materials while supporting, and at times, leading Global Corporate Procurement initiatives. Our ideal candidate offers a career developed through the procurement of industrial chemical raw ingredients from Global suppliers. You'll be deeply experienced monitoring the Commodity markets leveraging your spend to ensure the best price or availability is obtained to meet the organizations sales and production forecasts. Candidates should display experiences working alongside R&D departments identifying new potential materials as well as working with Engineering on "Cost Down" initiatives. Only those candidates who possess an applicable Post-Secondary Education in Procurement, have led the Purchasing of Industrial Chemical Commodities, and display Leadership potential will be considered for the position.
