Description This producer of precision components for automotive and medical device industries requires the talents of a fully experienced Quality Manager to continue the development and deployment of Quality Management Systems to satisfy extremely discerning medical device and automotive industry customers. Utilizing the latest in manufacturing technologies our client is, nonetheless, still reliant on standardized efforts of skilled, union-free employees and error-proofed production processes to deliver 'top in class' products to its discriminating customers. The Quality Manager will insure that the Quality Management Systems satisfy ISO 13485, ITAF 16949, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 certification requirements in addition to customer-specific audit criteria and that all Employees are effectively trained. This is a highly visible Customer-Facing and Vendor-Facing role so excellent communication & presentation skills are a hiring prerequisite. Internal working relationships with engaged, committed Engineering, Production and Sales Teams must be maintained with the highest of cooperation and common focus on Customer Satisfaction. Our ideal candidate is as effective a team builder/leader as s/he is as a team player who works well in an independent manner adjusting to the changing priorities of Customers, Site Management and Corporate Headquarters. Engineering and ASQ credentials will highlight candidacy.
