Production Shop Supervisor

Description This busy and growing designer and manufacturer of build to print and custom engineered mechanical systems is adding the talents of a strong Production Supervisor to run the day shift only shop. With responsibility for the scheduling and production within this manual fabrication environment, you'll be tasked with leading a seasonal workforce of both skilled and unskilled assembly personnel. You will be called upon to provide guidance and input on process improvements and quickly react to bottlenecks within the project driven production schedule. We are looking for a strong communicator and a "lead by example" leader with experience within a build to order fabrication and assembly manufacturing environment. You'll need to provide strengths in being decisive, ability to re-align manpower to reach required shipping deadlines, an understanding of modern ERP software, and the ability read an engineered drawing. Candidates with a post-secondary education with be given preferred consideration.
