Description This global Automotive Parts manufacturer with locations in China and Korea, as well as Canada, US, and Europe, seeks to add the talents of a strong EHS Coordinator to their Beijing facility, to oversee the Health & Safety and Environmental protocols of a long-standing, continually successful facility that is undergoing significant transformation. This opportunity presents exciting challenges in the scope of new paradigms, implementation of new automation and machine technologies, and an evolving culture.

Our ideal candidate has cultivated a strong Supervisory background in Environmental Health & Safety, preferably within fast-paced Manufacturing environments. This position will be key in managing the overall EHS program with particular focus on Environmental factors, as well as establishing objectives, maintaining certification/compliance, and overseeing all EHS activities within the facility. Our candidate will have ideally have experience with Heat Treating and the steel-making process, including emissions, air contaminants, filtration, gasses, etc. and oversee daily Safety audits and promote all company protocols related to Environmental concerns.

The incumbent will be responsible for the ISO and OHSAS Management systems, coach Leadership on how to address EHS issues, analyze Safety stats to identify trends & develop countermeasures, and review products, equipment, layouts, work methods for potential hazards and recommend modifications. Our candidate will also develop, implement, monitor various EHS policies & protocols as well as participate in various Safety training and champion a culture of Safety within the company.
