Description This 100% Canadian Corporation, producers of private label & brand name food products, requires the talents of a self-sufficient Human Resources / Health & Safety Generalist at its modern division in the South Bruce region. This is a new role designed to better support its 80 union-free employees and the growth curve. Receiving broad direction from Corporate Offices in Mississauga, the HR/H&S Generalist will provide support and guidance to the Plant Manager, Supervisors, and all employees. We're searching for candidates with intermediate-level (2-5 years) experiences in industrial Human Resources and Health & Safety who can tailor corporate policies and procedures to fit this plant's needs, share the lead of the JHSC and nurture the employee-friendly culture the company is known for. This is an excellent opportunity to "own" HR/H&S functions in a rural, small-town location where employees are family, friends and/or neighbours.
