Description Proudly Canadian, our client is operating on the cutting edge in Electric Vehicle Systems Engineering and not just electric propulsion but also remote and autonomous control. It's mobile machinery is designed and manufactured here on the shores of Georgian Bay but sold and in use world-wide. It is currently adding to its team of Electric Systems Designers whose backgrounds align with working on technologies such as 380VAC to 1000VAC high voltage, 5VDC to 24VDC and 4-20mA control systems, PLC program control systems, line of sight & tele-remote systems, panel design, HMI design. Electrical Designers will carry out the proper design and selection of components and their integration into the larger system of propulsion, hydraulics and mechanics for machines. Naturally, exceptional communications skills will be required to effectively liaise and coordinate with other Engineers and Purchasing representatives. Candidates can be either Technologists or Engineers with experiences designing control systems for heavy mobile equipment and appreciate Design for Manufacturability initiatives.
