Description This global Automotive Parts manufacturer Ontario seeks to add the expertise of a Health & Safety Specialist to the Human resources department of a long-standing, continually successful facility that is undergoing significant transformation and growth expansion. The organization is experiencing such continued growth and expansion that they are operating at full throttle. This opportunity presents exciting challenges in the scope of new paradigms, implementation of new automation and machine technologies, and an evolving culture.

Our candidate has a background ideally in Automotive Manufacturing cultivated through hands-on Health & Safety activity. The incumbent will be experienced in overseeing all aspects of H&S including WSIB, claims administration, investigations, Safety audits, training, tracking & monitoring all H&S data, implementing new policies & protocols, and identifying issues and opportunities for improvement. Our candidate will be experienced in current H&S regulations, root cause analysis, developing manuals, and working with cross-functional teams to promote a Safety culture within the facility.
