Description The local Canadian manufacturing arm of a global Designer & Manufacturer of high-end consumer goods will add the talents of an experienced MRO Buyer (Maintenance) to the organization on a CONTRACT BASIS. The MRO Buyer will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and managing purchase orders, as well as obtaining vendor information for pricing and delivery, and maintaining optimal non-inventory levels. Duties will include preparing price comparisons, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong vendor relationships. Our ideal candidate will exhibit solid supply chain expertise in addition to displaying strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The MRO Buyer must be highly organized with effective time management skills.
