Description This well-established Original Equipment Manufacturer of engineered products for the Metallurgical Processing Industry is looking to add the talents of an experienced Sales and Business Development leader to their team. Reporting to the President, this role will set the direction for the group, building and executing strategies that will protect the current market position and, more importantly, initiate and sustain growth into new markets. Responsible for a small but effective team, this is a highly-visible position, representing the business to customers at a global scale. Accordingly, some international travel is to be expected.

This role will be expected to support the business through strategic market research and competitor analysis that directs Sales to targeted prospects, and drives new product development projects, determines pricing strategies, trade show participation, and improves product offerings to drive increased customer satisfaction. Due to the nature of the engineered-to-order products, a relevant technical education and certification (e.g. P.Eng, CET) as well as familiarity with the metal processing industry is required to collaborate with Engineers, Estimators, and Product Managers. This is an opportunity for a proven leader and technical expert in the Metallurgical industry to determine courses of action and play a key role in this company's continued success in the global market.
