Millwright / Machine Builder - Day Shift

Project ID: 10467

Location Brantford, ON
Description As an experienced Millwright, are you ready to step away from the pressure of ensuring equipment uptime AND get away from rotating or continental shifts that are forcing you to miss out on events? Why not try your hand within the realm of machine building and process equipment deconstruction where the day-to-day pressures are much less than traditional high speed production environments.

This local division of a Global Corporation supplying Capital Equipment to a vast number of industries and markets, has partnered with KEC to support their Repair & Overhaul division. Over its one (day) shift operation, this location provides repair & overhaul services on highly specialized, heavy process industry machinery for the North American market. End Users routinely return their large Industrial Machinery for regularly scheduled repair and overhaul services. As a Millwright within the Repair Centre, you will entirely dismantle this equipment, measure, inspect, and document all critical components, and work closely with the Project Managers to identify all required repair and/or replacement requirements for the equipment. Once all the repaired/replaced parts are returned, you will then reassemble the machine for test and shipment back to the end user.

Our ideal candidate is a Licensed Millwright who wants the work/life balance this opportunity can offer. We are searching for individuals who are interested in working a straight day shift in a non-union environment. You will bring experiences from heavy machine-building and/or heavy machine repair industries as well as possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints while working side by side with Millwrights and Fitters as machinery is dismantled, inspected, and rebuilt right in their facility.
