Description Our client is a global leader in tube manufacturing, serving the worlds energy sector, and has experienced significant growth over the past few years. Therefore, they have partnered with KEC to add the talents of a Production Shift Supervisor for their 24/7 Mill operation.

The Shift Supervisor will lead a 12-hour Rotating Shift ensuring scheduled production is completed according to specifications and customer needs. The Production Shift Supervisor will be responsible for leading employees during their assigned shift and supervising the operation of equipment in the production processes in addition to coordinating schedules, assigning responsibilities, and searching for process improvement opportunities. This position will train employees on new jobs and develop their skills as well as resolve conflicts.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering background or 3+ years previous experience leading a team in a 24/7 Unionized, heavy industrial environment. Experience with optimizing plant performance, effective communications skills, and troubleshooting abilities are essential selection criteria. We are looking for strong technical and leadership experiences and someone who is enthusiastic about coaching and developing their team and building strong relationships.
