Description Proudly Canadian, our client is operating on the cutting edge in Electric Vehicle System Engineering and not just electric propulsion, but also remote and autonomous control. Its mobile machinery is designed and manufactured here on the shores of Georgian Bay, but sold, and in use, world-wide. It is currently adding to its team of Electric Systems Designers, whose backgrounds align with working on technologies such as autonomous vehicles.

The Senior Electrical Designer will carry out the proper design and selection of components and their integration into the larger system of propulsion, hydraulics, and mechanics for their machines. Naturally, exceptional communications skills will be required to effectively liaise and coordinate with other Engineers and mentor junior members on the team. Candidates can either be licensed or eligible for licensing through PACETT or PEO and ideally, will have experiences designing control systems for heavy mobile equipment.
