Description Our client, a busy designer/manufacturer of Factory Automation, is looking to add an Automation Controls Manager to lead their team of PLC Programmers. Due to continued growth, the Automation Controls Manager will be tasked with the training and development of the Controls Group. We are looking for a leader who is deeply entrenched in the Custom Automation industry and is an accomplished Supervisor or Manager, able to communicate and collaborate with Project Managers and Customers alike. The Automation Controls Manager will draw from prior successes through the complete project cycle, from Project Intake through to Design, Simulation, and Commissioning. Candidates must display a proven track record of leadership, a strong attention to detail & timelines, superb customer service skills, and a true sense of job ownership and accountability. In addition, experiences with Allen Bradley PLCs will be valued. Reporting to Senior Leadership, this is an opportunity to guide the direction of the Controls Group by introducing or improving processes in a highly collaborative environment.
