Description A shining star in its global markets, this Canadian company designs and manufactures sophisticated electronic control systems in its Eastern Ontario headquarters and production facility. As it experiences even more growth, it will add Product/Program Engineers to its Product Engineering Team. The Engineers will take ownership of product families and manage the NPI process from R&D through drawing package finalization, prototyping, process development including Capex, sample runs to Start of Production. In essence, the Engineer will champion and manage Design For Manufacturing/Assembly motives across all engaged departments leading to successful launches.

For one position, our ideal candidates bring strong Manufacturing Engineering backgrounds in Surface Mount Technologies (SMT) and assembly of sophisticated electronics products. For the other position, our ideal candidates bring strengths in manufacturing of mechanical components and assembly of automated, robotic equipment controlled by PLCs and servo motors. As the "owners" of a product or product family through full life cycles, these Engineers will champion Continuous Improvement initiatives, facilitate Engineering Changes and work with Supply Chain on component sourcing.
