Description Our client, a well-established and union-free manufacturer of small electrical components, is searching for a Plant Engineer, with a specialty in Clad Metals as well as previous experiences in formed metals and stamped components, to provide technical expertise and leadership to the organization. By utilizing your understanding of metal properties (particularly with silver and copper) and metal joining and forming, the Plant Engineer will collaborate with R&D, Plant, and Commercial teams for the future improvement of the plant and its manufacturing capabilities. This role interfaces with all other business areas and manages those resources effectively to positively impact product quality and throughput, while also leading the standardization of work for repeatability. The Plant Engineer will have specialized knowledge of metal behavior properties and be competent with computer tools to deliver successful Project Management. If you enjoy a floor focused role, understanding metal processes from a metallurgical point of view, and leading product development for the sustainability of the business, than this opportunity is for you!
