Description One of Canada's best known and respected food processors will add the talents of an experienced Warehouse Distribution Supervisor to its team at a local plant. Leading a small team of Shippers/Receivers and Material Handlers, the Supervisor will coordinate and lead the receipt & storage of raw materials and packaging, storage of finished goods, and the timely shipping of finished goods directly to customers or to the Corporate Distribution Center. Effective planning and organizing efforts so that incoming materials are off-loaded & stored promptly as well as outgoing loads are staged and ready to load as trucks arrive are key mandates of this role.

Our ideal candidate brings solid experiences and successes in a similar role where every day is different and decisions need to be made on the fly. Excellent planning and communication skills are critical to success in this role and, therefore are critical hiring criteria. Prior experiences with running a warehouse in compliance with GMP, HACCP, and automated Warehouse Management Systems will enhance candidacy.
