Description Our client, a designer and manufacturer of alternative fuel systems, is looking to add the talents of an HR Generalist to its Human Resources department. In this "job shop" environment, you will be responsible for the day-to-day recruitment and training efforts, as well as the administration of new employee orientations and onboarding activities, biweekly payroll, and the maintenance of the employee handbook, just to name a few. A communicative approach to employee relations will support the ongoing initiative for positive engagement with the Plant staff, both deeply tenured and relatively new.

Our ideal candidate brings roughly 5-7 years of solid HR experience from within a manufacturing environment with a strong sense of "job ownership". You will be a true Generalist who is a comfortable on the Shop Floor as well as in the Conference Room. You will have honed skills utilizing modern HRIS systems and will have a deep knowledge where Human Resources can best impact all levels within the organization.
