Description For almost 50 years, our small client has carved out a reputation for the design, development, and manufacture of advanced power quality and power conversion equipment for niche industrial applications. Recently acquired by a larger, international corporation boasting 100 years of success, it has experienced dramatic sales growth this year alone and is forecasting even more dramatic growth as the horsepower of the Corporate Sales & Marketing teams kick fully into gear.

During this exciting expansion phase, the long-term General Manager has announced their retirement planned for later this year. This is a perfect time for the new General Manager to learn past state and current state from the incumbent while guiding future state growth with the parent company. This is truly a BIG FROG in a SMALL POND opportunity, personally leading Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Product Management while working with International Sales & Marketing to develop new products for new markets and managing the plant expansion and capacity increase.

Our ideal candidate brings a career foundation in power electronics Engineering mixed with broader experiences in Production, Supply Chain or Product Management that have set the stage for her/him to step into this General Manager role. With less than 50 total employees, the business requires a very hands-on General Manager who can inspire and lead the team through dramatic growth that some are finding intimidating.
