Description For over 70 years, this Canadian company has developed and honed its Best-In-Class reputation globally with unique & iconic Engineered products. Producing in Canada, the USA, and Europe, it sells globally through licensed distributors and is, therefore, subject to regional economic trends and multiple currency values that can impact forecasts and revenues. It will now add the talents of an experienced Controller to further develop financial reporting systems and procedures to better support the size and structure the company has grown to.

Concentrating on the local production, parts, & service facility, the Controller will enhance the gathering of operational data and develop reporting formats to help management analyze and manage production, labour, and material costs, negotiate LTA contracts with vendors, and budget product development costs for new Engineering projects. Rolling improved data into operating budgets will then allow for better performance to plan, measure, and improve alignment of all departments with strategic goals. Once these new financial reporting systems are in place and have proven their value, they will then be transitioned to the other operating divisions in Canada, the USA, and Europe.

Our ideal Candidate is a seasoned Controller with expertise in Engineered product manufacturing, highlighted by solid knowledge of operational cost and budget management. Due to the "build & deploy" nature of this role, the Controller must be willing and capable to operate in a roll-up-the-sleeves manner, working closely with the VP Operations to identify reporting needs, and build valuable reports and dashboards.
