Description We've partnered with Gay Lea Foods Co-operative, one of Canada's largest, successful, best known and trusted consumer foods producers, to recruit and hire an accomplished Maintenance Manager at a key plant in Guelph, Ontario. This facility runs 24 x 7, 365 days/year supported by a mid-sized Maintenance Team that effectively handles the Preventative Maintenance plans, Daily Line Calls and supports corporate Project Engineers on CapEX projects.

Responsible for maintaining all production equipment and plant infrastructure, the Maintenance Manager will lead a team of 4th Class Operating Engineers & Millwrights and manage relationships with Trades Contractors for Electrical services and in support of CapEX projects. It's critically important that the Maintenance Manager ensure that all employees and all work are compliant with Food Safety, Quality and SQF systems.

We are searching for a candidate with a track record of Maintenance Leadership, ideally in the food processing and packaging industry. Solid knowledge of pumps, pressure vessels, process piping, boilers, refrigeration units, cooling towers and automated packaging equipment will highlight our ideal candidate. A skilled trade license or Engineering credentials round out our ideal profile. Candidates must provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination to be hired.
