Description With a base history nearing 40 years, this Tier One Auto Parts supplier operates numerous plants in North America and throughout the world. Its centralized Purchasing Team needs to add a NPI Buyer who will be responsible for new project introduction throughout the initial costing phase to program kick off and eventual the handoff to day to day sourcing initiatives. We are searching for a knowledgeable and accomplished Buyer who brings experience in product and new program cost sourcing efforts with excellent negotiating and communication skills. A good understanding of manufacturing processes including stamping, forging, and machining will definitely highlight candidacy. If you possess an Engineering background with a Supply Chain focus and have familiarity with the launch process from a purchasing perspective, all within a fast-paced automotive supply operation, then this opportunity is for you!!
