Description With a base history nearing 40 years, this Tier One Auto Parts supplier operates numerous plants in North America and throughout the world. Its centralized Purchasing Team is searching for a Supply Chain Analyst who will be responsible for data analytics with respect to supply chain, including supplier communications, surveys, material shortage forecasts, and weather incidents disrupting supply. We are searching for a knowledgeable and accomplished Supply Chain Professional who brings experience in supplier data management and risk mitigation, to be able to provide a comprehensive view of purchasing possibilities to then contribute to strategies that avoid disruption. A good understanding of manufacturing processes including stamping, forging, and machining will definitely highlight candidacy. If you possess a Supply Chain educational background and are able to connect with internal/external functional groups and suppliers for the benefit of a fast-paced automotive supply operation, then this opportunity is for you!!
