Description Europe's market leader, this successful and expanding designer/manufacturer established its Canadian Production presence just four years ago to sell highly engineered vehicles to government agencies and private fleet operators across North America. It now requires the talents of another skilled and experienced Contract Manager to effectively manage all Bid Package Responses and post-sale administration leading to on-time delivery. The Contract Manager must be able to navigate through hundreds of pages of Bid Specifications to accurately develop Cost Estimates and Pricing to deliver Bid Responses within deadlines. The Contract Manager will communicate directly with the Customers post-sale to confirm scope of work, identify any Engineering Changes or options and prepare invoicing accordingly. Once orders are finalized, the Contract Manager becomes the Customer's Advocate liaising with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing & Production responding to any Change Requests to expedite on-time delivery. This role is an individual contributor with Customer Facing responsibilities and significant influence internally. As such, candidates must display an appropriate balance of a keen attention to detail, thoroughness, and organizational skills complimented by excellent communication skills, the ability to influence & facilitate, and strong self-motivation. Our ideal candidate brings years of Contract Management experience; talent learned & honed in an industry selling highly engineered vehicles or equipment to government agencies by tenders and to private industries by negotiated purchase order. Candidates must be able to occasionally travel Canada and to the USA in a Customer Facing role.
