Description Our client, a global leader in tube manufacturing serving the worlds energy sector, has experienced significant growth and has partnered with KEC to add the talents of a Heat Treatment Shift Supervisor to the Day Shift for this 24/7 Mill operation.

The Shift Supervisor will lead a 12-hour Day Shift ensuring scheduled production is completed according to specifications and customer needs. The Heat Treatment Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading employees during their assigned shift and supervising the operation of equipment in the production processes as well as coordinating schedules and assigning responsibilities while searching for process improvement opportunities. This position will train employees on new jobs and develop their skills as well as resolve conflicts.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering background or 3+ years previous experience leading a team in a 24/7 Unionized, heavy industrial environment. Experience with optimizing plant performance, effective communications skills, and troubleshooting abilities are essential selection criteria. We are looking for strong technical and leadership experiences and someone who is enthusiastic about coaching and developing their team and building strong relationships.
