Description Well-established in the global Defence and Aerospace industries, this designer/manufacturer of sophisticated systems requires its next Leader of Business Development & Sales. Mandated to lead the teams of remote International Sales Managers and Product/Capture Managers through a strategy straddling 1) Defend, Protect & Nurture of existing Customer relationships AND 2) new Customer, Market and Product Application opportunities, the BD & Sales Leader will develop & execute a 5-year strategic plan that further solidifies brand identity as an industry segment leader. Our ideal candidate has built a career and reputation leading BD & Sales successes in the international D&A space and is fully conversant with the nuances of navigating government tenders and procurement contract negotiations directly and through local, country-specific Agents or OE Partners. Beyond knowledge and experience operating in this D&A space, our ideal candidate must be an excellent team player and leader, a coach/motivator, and a calming diplomatic Voice of the Customer to the matrix of Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Contracts, and Finance objectively evaluating new business opportunities.


Bachelors Degree at minimum, MBA ideal
