Description This medium-sized manufacturer of complex assemblies, servicing various industries, will add the talents of an accomplished Materials and Supply Chain Manager to its team. All though this role will have full scope responsibilities for Purchasing, Inventory, Production Scheduling, and Logistics, the immediate focus will be driving the optimization of the Production Scheduling processes. By better understanding the Advanced Planning and Scheduling software, you’ll be able to further the efficiencies of scheduling this busy Production Floor.

As this organization copes with growing pains and market diversification, as well as internal succession planned promotions, it will mandate the Materials Manager to develop improved processes, procedures, and employee training that result in less on-hand inventory without starving Production & Assembly and ensuring on-time delivery.

Our ideal candidate is a SCMP currently in a Materials Management role with strong ERP systems experiences who displays determination, drive, persistence, initiative, and an achievement focus with experience to contribute strategically at the Management table and the communication skills to lead teams "in the trenches". You'll bring particularly strong experiences working within Advanced Planning and Scheduling software where you can demonstrate key successes in further developing the systems effectiveness and efficiency. Candidates must also be able to provide examples of progressive accomplishments in vendor diversification and consolidation, and overall Supply Chain Optimization.
