Description Our client has an enviable 50-year reputation as a leader in the emerging modular construction industry designing, constructing, and erecting stand alone commercial, educational, and industrial buildings. Today, it stands at the leading edge of supporting municipal initiatives providing low-rise and mid-rise solutions to the pressing needs for affordable housing. In response to significant demand for these structures, it has already opened a second factory and the order book is full. Other similar applications will be for student housing and the hospitality industry.

To support rapid growth, we are searching for a Contracts Administrator who has current knowledge of the construction industry and, ideally, knowledge of contractors and subtrades required for the likes of site preparation, foundations, erection, and plumbing and electrical finishing. This role contributes to front-end project planning at kick-off meetings, drafts & administers contracts plans, identifies commercial opportunities & risks and recommends sourcing/contracting strategies, drafts & executes RFP preparation, issuance, evaluation and award. As much as this role carries a heavy administrative workload requiring great attention to detail, we're also seeking the ideal candidate who has the interpersonal and communicative skills to negotiate terms & conditions and build lasting win/win relationships with contractors and subtrades.
