Description Kitchener Executive Consultants has partnered with a client to recruit and hire a Chief Operating Officer to develop and deploy Production Strategies. For more than 60 years, this designer/manufacturer of sophisticated automotive systems has continually pushed the envelope in product technology development to reach its current international footprint, supplying auto makers from plants on three continents. To continue the journey it will add the talents of a COO to concentrate on harnessing the capacities & capabilities of all five production facilities from the HQ in SW Ontario. To support ongoing production innovation, the COO will also lead a Corporate team of Advanced Manufacturing & Project Engineers in addition to all 5 Plant Managers. Our ideal candidate brings a pedigree of multi-plant, multi-jurisdictional leadership achievements in auto parts manufacturing. A passion for, and measurable successes institutionalizing Lean Continuous Improvement initiatives that protect margins against Customer Cost-Down initiatives will be particularly attractive to us. Working closely with the CEO, the COO will also impact global Supply Chain development, Product Development regarding Manufacturability, the Employee Relations culture and Labour Relations strategies, and Collective Agreement Administration.
