Description Our client, an internationally respected, established, profitable, and forward thinking industrial organization in the Waterloo Region has an immediate requirement for a proven, motivated, and growth conscious financial professional. Baseline credentials will include a post secondary degree/diploma, CPA/CMA designation, and a minimum of five years experience in a private manufacturing or industrial distribution environment. Superior communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills will be an absolute requirement for serious consideration for this challenging and high profile role. While the financial management of the organization will be top of mind, our Client is searching for candidates with a genuine desire to positively impact all operational aspects of this proudly Canadian organization, including materials/inventory management, logistics, quality, IT, etc. Reporting to the COO, this hands on, 'working Controller' role will include supervising a functionally diverse staff of 5, managing all day to day financial aspects of the organization, liaising with auditing, governmental, and banking concerns, as well as providing strategic, timely, and pertinent information to the ownership group. Ability to lead change throughout the organization is an essential element.
