Description Deeply rooted in the Niagara Peninsula, this auto parts manufacturer will add the talents of an accomplished QUALITY MANAGER who brings a track record of QMS development & deployment and fostering of collaborative, collegial inter-departmental partnerships. The Quality Department is a mix of long-term employees who can be guided by modern Quality Management tools and techniques and new, technically trained employees who require career development and mentoring. Our ideal candidate brings expertise with IATF 16949, significant knowledge of metal manufacturing and mechanical assembly processes but, most importantly, outstanding leadership qualities. With new program launches on the horizon this is an ideal opportunity to influence Product & Manufacturing Engineering and Program Management early and build robust Quality Systems for the shop floor. Naturally, superb communications and presentation skills will be required to handle external Vendor and Customer relationships.
