Description As a leader in its global market this growing Canadian designer / manufacturer of heavy industrial vehicles is constantly raising the bar with new designs and design refinements. In support of R&D and dramatic business growth it will add the talents of an accomplished Mechanical Designer to its team at Head Office. Our ideal candidate brings vehicle design experiences that can be applied to projects related to powertrain, frame, suspensions, cab, boom and load-lifting/manipulation applications. You will carry out proper design & selection of fabricated, machined or purchased components ensuring proper form/fit/function and support Production by answering questions and/or modifying designs for manufacturability with ECN's. Proficiency with SolidWorks is a prerequisite hiring criteria. Working within distinct Product Family Engineering teams you will be given great opportunities to develop your career.
