Description This busy and growing Automotive parts supplier is adding the talents of a strong Production Manager to lead the Plant level operations while driving scrap reduction and cost savings initiatives. The Production Manger will be an integral part to this expanding organization dedicated to developing the World Class Manufacturing processes through continuous improvement and capital expansion. You'll be responsible for all hourly Production staff through Shift Supervisors pertaining to departmental performance with respect to budget, financial plans, and plant operating goals. Our ideal candidate will be an accomplished Production/Manufacturing Manager within an Automotive Tier 1, 2 or 3 facility who truly lives and breaths Lean Manufacturing. You'll have proven successes identifying and leading Lean/CI initiatives and using data to identify trends, issues and corrective actions. Candidates will need experience leading a unionized workforce and hold a post-secondary education.
