Description Firmly established over 50+ years, this large manufacturer requires the talents of an Occupational Health Nurse to be the first line of support to some 700 employees. You will responsible for proactively sponsoring and leading Health & Wellness and Medical Surveillance programs, performing initial ergonomic & Job Hazard Analysis assessments and identifying hazards for injury reduction & prevention. In response to any event, you will provide first level first aid treatment and then support employees through further treatment, WSIB and STD claims management and into the effective Early Safe Return to Work. The Occupational Health Nurse will serve these employees in a supportive, empathetic and compassionate manner consistent with the corporate culture. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance as a condition of hire.
