Description This highly successful designer/manufacturer of Engineered industrial products requires the talents of an experienced Buyer of mechanical, fabricated, and machined components. You will assume responsibility for an established North American vendor base that is being stretched by our client's Sales growth. The Buyer will, therefore, engage in the sourcing and evaluation of augmentative or alternative vendors fully capable of servicing current and future requirements. Our ideal candidate brings 7-10 years of Purchasing experiences in Engineered Products industries and has developed and honed her/his skills to operate decisively and independently with minimal oversight from the Supply Chain Manager. Solid experiences working with SAP or similar ERP software and with the Vendor Management modules of ISO will highlight candidacy.
